Social Tagging

User generated tags have the potential to give a truer picture of the most common tags people actually use when looking for information. Tags created by professionals or specialists aren't always commonly used. If libraries want to be inviting and useful for a wide cross-section of their community members, social tagging can help make resources easier to find for a greater number of people.

When one clicks on the link attached to "saved by xxx people," a combines tag list is called up for that link. This is weighted list showing the most common tags in the cloud format.

I am trying to get my del.icio.us link roll linked to this page. The title is there, but it is not yet linking. I will recheck the html code, and hopefully, have it working soon.
